Cash dairy prices mixed Friday with butter higher, cheese lower

Cash dairy prices were mixed Friday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dry whey was unchanged at $0.7450.  One sale was recorded at that price.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0150 at $1.38.  Ten sales were recorded, ranging from $1.3775 to $1.39.  Cheese barrels were down $0.0325 at $1.4125.  One sale was recorded at that price.  Butter prices were up $0.0075 at $1.4775. Ten sales were recorded, ranging from $1.47 to $1.4775.  Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0050 at $1.17.  No sales were recorded.
