Cash dairy prices mixed entering holiday

Cash dairy prices were mixed Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dry whey was down $0.0075 at $0.7325.  Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $0.7325 to $0.74.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0050 at $1.47.  One sale was recorded at $1.4725.  Cheese barrels remained unchanged at $1.5825.  No sales were recorded.  Butter prices rebounded some Wednesday, up $0.02 at $1.45. Ten sales were recorded, ranging from $1.43 to $1.45.  Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0175 at $1.1425.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1425 to $1.1450.  The Chicago Mercantile Exchange will be closed for the Thanksgiving […]
