Cash dairy prices closed mostly higher on Friday

Cash dairy prices were higher on Friday except for cheese at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.70.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $0.69 to $0.70.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0125 at $1.4750.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.4750 to $1.48.  Cheese barrels remained unchanged at $1.44.  No sales were recorded.  Butter was up $0.0325 at $1.6675.  Twenty-four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.6675 to $1.7050.  Nonfat dry milk was up 0.0050 at $2.09. One sale was recorded at that price.
