Cash dairy market prices higher Thursday

Cash dairy prices were up Thursday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with noticable jumps in block and butter values and sales.    Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.73. Two sales were recorded at $0.72 and $0.73.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.04 at $1.4675.  Ten sales were recorded, ranging from $1.44 to $1.4675.  Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.44.  No sales were recorded at that price.  Butter prices were up $0.1025 to $1.71.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.6325 to $1.71.   Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0625 at $1.60.  No sales were recorded.
