Cargill to layoff 5% of workforce

Cargill has announced plans to lay off about five percent of its workforce. The Minnesota-based company is the world’s largest ag commodity trader and employs more than 160,000 people worldwide. In a statement, Cargill says the changes are part of a long-term strategy set earlier this year.
