Butter higher, cheese lower on Tuesday’s cash dairy market

Cash dairy prices were mixed on Tuesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.6850.  No sales were recorded.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0125 at $1.4925.  Eight sales were recorded, ranging from $1.49 to $1.5050.  Cheese barrels were down $0.01 at $1.47.  No sales were recorded.  Butter was up $0.0250 at $1.56.  Thirty-six sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5375 to $1.5775.  Nonfat dry milk was down 0.03 at $2.0425.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $2.0450 to $2.0550.
