Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for near- or below-normal temperatures nationwide, except for lingering warmth from southern Texas to the southern Atlantic Coast.  Meanwhile, near- or above-normal precipitation can be expected throughout the country, with the Southeast having the greatest likelihood of experiencing wet weather.
