An active, moisture-laden pattern to continue for the Heartland; generally mild for the season

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for near- or above-normal temperatures and precipitation across most of the country.  The eastern U.S. has the greatest likelihood of experiencing warmer-than-normal weather.  Meanwhile, drier-than-normal conditions should be limited to California and the western Great Basin.
