A return to unseasonably mild to warm weather for most; a largely dry pattern

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of above-normal temperatures and near- or below-normal precipitation across much of the country.  Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to the Pacific Northwest. Meanwhile, wetter-than-normal weather should be limited to southern Texas, northern California, and the Pacific Northwest.
