Corn and soybean planting has nearly wrapped up in Nebraska.
USDA says as of Sunday 96% of the state’s expected corn crop has been planted with 79% of the crop emerged.
Soybeans planted reached 90% with 64% of the crop emerged.
The sorghum crop is 52% planted, behind the five-year average of 58%.
The state’s winter wheat crop is 72% headed with 68% of the crop in good to excellent condition.
