•Free Hazardous Waste Drop-off in Sioux Center has been cancelled.  At this time a September event which will allow free drop-off of Hazardous Household Waste Materials is planned for Sioux Center.

•NW IA Area Solid Waste Agency: Closed to the general public. Please contact your local solid waste hauler for extra pickup. Remaining open to the commercial Solid Waste haulers and contractors.

•Northwestern College: Author J. Todd Billings events cancelled

•The Porn Epidemic Conference with Josh McDowell scheduled for April 25 and April 27 in Sioux City has been changed to a one-day event and has been postponed to August 10.  For more information go to siouxlandagainsttrafficking.org


•RIDES: Ceasing general public transportation beginning today.  Previously established dialysis trips and a few medical trips will still be provided.  For more information call 262-7920 or 800-358-5037.

•Shepherd's Table: Instead of a community meal, there will be a Zestos food distribution on April 6 at the First Christian Reformed Church parking lot in Rock Valley from 5:00-6:30pm. This will be a drive up and walk up event. Volunteers will direct traffic and recommended health practices will be used. All are welcome!  

•Sioux Center Health: Dr. Block-Urology Specialty Clinic cancelled

•Celebrate Recovery:  All Sioux Center meetings cancelled until further notice

•IGHSAU/IHSAA/IHSMA/IHSSA: Spring activities suspended; suspension means no in-person contact between coaches/administrators and student-athletes for the duration of the suspension period

•Iowa State University Extension Offices in Sioux, Lyon, O'Brien and Osceola counties:  Closed

•ISU Extension Offices: Closed until further notice; NO manure management or pesticide video viewing at the ISU Extension office in Orange City until at least April 7.

•Lewis Family Drug in Sioux Center:  closed to the public, but will remain open through drive-up, curbside, mail, and delivery services. Please call ahead with prescriptions, over the counter item needs, and payment method 48 hours before you need it to allow time to prepare your order and expedite your visit.

•Lyon County Conservation: All programs cancelled until the end of the month

•NAIA/GPAC: Spring sports seasons cancelled

•Offices and clinics of doctors Wagner, Kuntz & Grabouski:  All locations closed until April 7th

•Orange City Area Health System: No visitors (exceptions with limits include end-of-life circumstances and obstetrics). Call 737-5358 if you have questions. Interior path at the downtown campus is closed to the public until further notice. Several "Well Clinics" available for necessary "non-illness" appointments which will be separate from areas where people are being seen for illness.  For more information call 737-2000.

•Orange City Chamber: Closed until further notice; personnel can be reach via email and phone

•Prairie Ridge Care Center, Orange City: No visitors

•Promise Community Health Center: Remains open, but requires you call ahead 712-722-1700 before coming in, you will be met at the door

•Sanford Home Medical Equipment in Orange City: Still open but closed to walk-in business until further notice.  Call 712-707-9550 for any equipment or supply needs.

•Sioux Center: City offices closed to the public; phones and emails will still be answered M-F 7am-4:30pm

•Sioux Center Coffee Break: Cancelled for the rest of the season

•Sioux Center football field and track is closed until further notice.

•Sioux Center Health:  No visitors at Royale Meadows, Franken Manor and Crown Pointe

•Sioux Center Hy-Vee:  Deli closed until further notice, take out orders available

•Sioux Center Public Library: Closed until further notice; All programs cancelled through the end of May

•Sioux County Drivers' License Stations: Closed until further notice. Questions will be answered during regular business hours at 712-737-8430 on Mondays and Fridays and 712-722-2923 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You may schedule appointments at the Sioux City Drivers' License office by going online to iowadot.gov/mvd/other-appointments

•Sioux County Government Buildings: Closed to the public; call appropriate office to possibly arrange an appointment of you need to take care of business with the county

•Sioux City Symphony Orchestra: the April 25th John Osborn Concert and Gala Fundraiser, and the May 15 & 16 auditions have been postponed

•St. Paul Lutheran Church of Hull: All public gatherings and services cancelled until further notice

•Wells Blue Bunny Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor: indoor dining & exhibits closed, "to go" ice cream orders only and must be paid with debit / credit cards (no cash payments accepted)

•Whispering Heights Nursing Home: No visitors allowed

COVID-19 School Status

•Akron-Westfield Schools: Closed

•Boyden-Hull Schools: Closed; Grab and Go Lunches distributed from 11:30am-12:30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Hesla Field concession stand in Hull and the north side of Presbyterian Church in Boyden. These lunches are available to all students in Boyden and Hull even if they do not attend Boyden-Hull Schools.

•Covenant Kids Preschool: Closed

•George-Little Rock Schools: Closed through March 31; administration will re-evaluate on March 27; Free grab and go meals available to students 18 years and under. •Orange City Christian School: Closed

•Remsen St. Mary's School: Closed

•Rock Valley Community Schools: Closed; Free sack lunches available to children 0-18 regardless of the school they attend but must register through the district Facebook page.  Daily pickup points are Rock Valley City Park, Faith Church and Rock Valley Methodist Church.

•Rock Valley Christian School: Closed

•Sioux Center Community & Sioux Center Christian Schools: Closed; Lunches are available to all children age 18 and younger from 11:30am-12:30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Central Reformed Church, Christ The King Catholic Church and Westbrook Village.  On Mondays at each site, classroom materials will also be handed out. •West Sioux Schools: Closed; Take & Go meals available to all children 18 and under from 11:00am-12:30pm weekdays at Hawarden & Ireton Elementary buildings.  The student must be present to pick up a lunch.
