Family Crisis Centers Appoints New Executive

The Board of Directors of Family Crisis Centers announces that Jessica Rohrs has been appointed to serve as the new Executive Director. Rohrs most recently served as the Interim Executive Director.

Rohrs attended the University of Northern Iowa where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration, a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a minor in family studies. She has a Master of Public Administration from Dordt University. Prior to joining Family Crisis Centers in 2015, Rohrs held various leadership positions at Boys & Girls Club of Brookings.

“Jessica has been an asset to Family Crisis Centers. I am thrilled to have her as our leader and I know that Family Crisis Centers is in good hands,” Board President Julie Arends said.

As Executive Director, Rohrs will lead Family Crisis Centers in carrying out its mission. She understands the mission, has a passion for serving others, and can provide a clear vision for the future of the agency. Rohrs will help ensure the continued success of Family Crisis Centers in maintaining quality programs and services for people in need throughout the region.

“The mission of Family Crisis Centers is one I hold dear. It has been a great privilege to work at FCC these past seven years, and I look forward to serving the agency in this role,” Jessica Rohrs said.

Family Crisis Centers (FCC) is an Iowa-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving victims and survivors of crime. FCC works with people who have experienced domestic violence, human trafficking, homicide and all other violent crimes.
