FRY BREAD


4 C. FLOUR


2 TBSP. BAKING POWDER


2 TBSP. MELTED BUTTER


1 ½ TSP. SALT


2 TBSP. SUGAR


1 ¾ C. WARM WATER


MIX ALL INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL. MIX WELL. LET IT SIT FOR 30 MINUTES.


AFTER 30 MINUTES, TAKE OUT AND KNEAD LIGHTLY. THEN ROLL OUT TO ¼-3/8 OF AN INCH THICK .


CUT INTO SQUARES TO PREFERED SIZED.


COOK IN DEEP-FRYER UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, OR FRY IT IN A SKILLET WITH FRESH LARD, OR OIL. (½ TO ¾ OF OIL IN SKILLET/PAN.) FLIP BREAD TO COOK EVENLY.
