Old Settler’s Baked Beans

1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bacon cut up into little chunks
1 medium onion diced
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. barbeque sauce
2 Tbs good mustard
2 Tbs molasses
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can kidney beans
1 can pork & beans
1 can butter or lima beans

Brown beef, bacon & onion in a skillet with butter. Add and mix all other ingredients except for beans & heat. Drain beans and mix into other ingredients.

Put in a baking pan and heat at 350° for 1 hour.

Eat plain or serve over Indian Fried Bread. If you want to make your own fried bread, simply fry bread dough in hot oil.
