Logan Cline has been named the new head baseball coach at Western Christian. After wrapping up his collegiate career at Dordt last spring with a team season high .407 batting average, 9 home runs and 24 RBI, Cline served as an assistant for the Wolfpack last summer.

The Cheyenne, Wyoming, native re-wrote the Dordt baseball record book as a 4-year starting shortstop for the Defenders. Cline graduated as Dordt's career leader in doubles, triples, stolen bases and total bases and ranks in the top three of several other categories. Twice named first team All-GPAC, he also added Academic All-American to his list of awards after last season.

Cline now lives in Sioux Center and works for CIVCO Radiotherapy as a Design Engineer. He is married to the former Ashytn Veerbeek and takes over for Trent Roos who served as the Wolfpack's head coach for five seasons.
