Sioux Center Health has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2022 honor for the second time by The Des Moines Register among companies with 500+ employees. Sioux Center Health was previously recognized by the Des Moines Register as a Top Workplace in 2019 and recently recognized as Top 100 Critical Access Hospital and 2022 Best of N’West Best Hospital.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Cory Nelson, CEO of Sioux Center Health. “The survey research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

Cory Nelson states, “Being named a Top Workplace is a big deal — employee satisfaction is incredibly important to us, and it is on our minds with every interaction. Between our strong mission and our great people, we have nurtured an exceptional culture at Sioux Center Health.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace is not something organizations can buy,” Theresa Tucker, Sioux Center Health Human Resources Officer said. “It is an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage.”

Sioux Center Health is a non-profit, community hospital established in 1946 by a group of local leaders who envisioned a health ministry to serve the needs of the community.
