Tel named GPAC Womens soccer offensive player of the week

Karinna Tel of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Tel, a freshman, from Puyallup, Washington, totaled eight points while leading the Defenders to a pair of wins last weekend.

She scored the first goal in Dordt's 2-1 win against Carroll on Friday night and followed that up with a two goal, two assist performance in Dordt 5-1 victory over Ottawa on Saturday.

Tel leads the GPAC in points (14) and assists (4) and is tied with teammate Avril Baccam for second in goals scored (5).
