Hawarden Man Arrested in Joint Investigation

A joint investigation between the Sioux and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Offices resulted in the arrest of a Hawarden man. 

 

49-year-old Jamie Arens was arrested Sunday after the two law enforcement agencies, who were investigating Aren’s suspected involvement in criminal activity in the two counties, executed a search warrant at his residence south of Hawarden. 

 

Arens was charged with third degree burglary, fifth degree theft, first degree trespassing and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license; Arens is being held on a $5,000 bond at the Sioux County Jail.  Additional charges are pending in Plymouth County.
