Number 1

Brothers Alex and Derek Koops of Sioux Center, along with teammate Lyle Broughton of Massachusets, were crowned as FOX’s first ever Domino Masters on the first season of the show that shares their title. The brothers, Juniors at Dordt University, kept the secret of their win since recording the show in the summer of 2021 and say it was pretty difficult to do, but are happy they can finally share the news!

Dordt University held a watch party Wednesday night to view the finale of the show and invited the public to join.  The brothers answered questions posed by a moderator during commercial breaks, and when the show was over, the winner announced – the crowd cheered!

The Dominerds team share a $100,000 cash prize and are named the first ever Domino Masters.  Tune in to KSOU to hear more from Alex and Derek on their experience with Domino Masters, what the future has in store for them, and how being contestants has affected them; and be sure to listen to the Daily Grind Thursday morning, May 12, as Alex and Derek will join us to talk about their experience.
