2022 GPAC Baseball All-Conference Team Announced

(Sioux City, Iowa) - The 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches.
Joe Osborn of Doane University was selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Player-of-the-Year and Thaniel Trumper also of Doane University was selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Pitcher-of-the-Year. Josh Oltmans of Doane University was named the 2022 Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach-of-the-Year.
A pair of Dordt players were named to the First team. Shortstop Logan Cline, and Pitcher Gyeongju Kim. Two players from Northwestern were picked to the second team, relief pitcher Colton Schucart, and Designated Hitter Mo Watson. Also picked to the second team were Concordia outfielder Keaton Candor, a Senior from Merrill, and Pitcher Jacob Wesselmann of Briar Cliff, and Senior from Remsen.
Honorable mention selections from Dordt, were – Dylan Brown (SP), Logan Horne (SP), Luke November (C), Hastings –Tyler Welsh (3B), Keaton Hoeke (OF)
6 players from Northwestern were honorable mention – Kip Cullinan (1B), Sam Stanford (3B), Mason Porepp (OF), Brett Shelton (SP), Drew Dykstra (SP), Brady Roberts (SP),
The 15th annual GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Gold Glove Team was named. Northwestern thirdbaseman Sam Stanford, and Dordt pitcher Logan Horne were honored.
