No Injuries in School Bus Accident Near Hull

No injuries were reported in a school bus accident on Highway 18 near Hull. In a press release, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, states the accident happened at 8:04 Wednesday morning.
The driver of the school bus, 82-year-old Ken Draayer of Hull, was exiting a residential driveway onto Highway 18 with 11 students on the bus. 20-year-old Baily Gesink of Hull was travelling eastbound on Highway 18 when Draayer entered the Highway and the two struck.
The school bus sustained approximately $2,000 in damage. Damage to Gesink’s Ford Focus was estimated at $2,500.
Draayer was cited for failing to yield when entering a highway.
