Rock Valley Man Arrested After Trespassing

A Rock Valley man was arrested Tuesday morning after officials received a report of someone trespassing at a Hull residence.
A short time later, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Seth Van Kekerix, of Rock Valley just after 10:00 o’clock Tuesday morning in Orange City.
During the investigation, deputies discovered that Van Kekerix entered the residence without permission. When confronted by the homeowner, Van Kekerix left without incident and was not found until a short time later in Orange City.
Van Kekerix was charged with trespassing; it was also discovered that Van Kekerix had outstanding arrest warrants for failing to appear in Court for theft, and illegal drug charges.
He was released on a $4,500 unsecured bond.
