Sioux Center Woman Arrested For Burglary and Other Charges

A Sioux Center woman faces several burglary charges after being arrested by the Sioux Center Police Department Tuesday.  In a Tuesday afternoon press release, the department says they arrested 62-year-old Nancy Kaye Vermeer of Sioux Center after an investigation revealed four separate occasions in which an individual allegedly entered a residence and removed prescription medication.

 

 Vermeer is being charged with four counts of burglary in the third degree, class D felony, four counts of theft in the fifth degree, simple misdemeanor, and four counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drug, serious misdemeanor.

 

All charges are allegations and charged individuals are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
