Highway 10 Closure to Begin Thursday

Highway 10 west from Highway 75 will be closed for six weeks beginning later this week.  In a statement released today, the Iowa DOT states they will be conducting bridge approach and pavement rehabilitation which requires closing the roadway at 3pm Thursday. 


Motorists will be detoured around the work zone by using Highway 75, Sioux County road B-46, and Sioux County road K-22.


The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
