Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest in Granville

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Orange City man Tuesday evening during a traffic stop in Granville.
The sheriff’s deputy determined 31-year-old Geoffrey Oolman of Orange City was driving while barred. The deputy then discovered controlled substances and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Oolman was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a barred driver’s license, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bond has not been set.
