No Injuries in Three Vehicle Accident Near Boyden

The Sioux County Sheriff’s office was called to a three-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon. The accident happened shortly before 3pm on 320th Street, one mile west of Boyden.
16 year-old Hunter Den Besten of Boyden, was driving eastbound on 320th in a Chevrolet Malibu; 15 year-old Braden Dokter of Boyden was also eastbound on 320th, following Den Besten, driving a Pontiac Grand Prix; 16 year-year old Lyndsey Moser of Sanborn, was eastbound behind Dokter driving a Chevrolet Malibu. Den Besten stopped for a turning vehicle, Dokter swerved to avoid striking Den Besten and Moser struck Den Besten and Dokter.
No injuries were reported.
The Den Besten Chevrolet sustained approximately $4,000 in damage. The Pontiac sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage. The Moser Chevrolet sustained approximately $5,000 in damage.
Moser was cited for following too close.
