Northwestern Men's Basketball Earns Votes In Preseason Poll

Northwestern College received votes in the NAIA Preseason Men's Basketball Coaches' poll of the merged divisions for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Head Coach Kris Korver's squad accumulated 31 points and is one of three teams from the Great Plains Athletic Conference in the initial poll. Morningside, the defending conference champion, is seventh, and Dordt is in the receiving votes category.

This is the first time since 1992 that the NAIA is one division in both men's and women's basketball.

Georgetown (Ky.) holds the top spot in the preseason ranking, earning 12 first place votes. Mid-America Christian is second, followed by Indiana Wesleyan, William Penn and Lewis-Clark State.
