Multiple charges have been filed against a Little Rock man in connection with a collision that happened late Friday night on Highway 60 one-quarter mile south of Hospers.

Sioux County authorities say they received multiple reports of a Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven southbound in the northbound lanes.  Deputies say the Jeep collided with a Kenworth semi-tractor pulling a freight trailer that was traveling northbound.  Authorities say the driver of the Jeep, 31 year-old Mizael Partida-Hernandez, of Little Rock, left the scene.  He was located by deputies a short time later in Hospers.

Partida-Hernandez was arrested and booked into jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and driving on the wrong side of a highway.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
