California Quarterback Picks Northwestern

Hunter Brooks (Indio, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.
Brooks is a 6'0", 190-pound quarterback who had a standout, three-year career playing for the Shadow Hills High School football team. Brooks threw for 2,600 yards, 18 touchdowns and rushed for an additional six scores while earning all-conference honors. A two-time team captain, Brooks is a member of the honor roll and plans to major in Business Administration at Northwestern. He is the son of Ryan Brooks and Rosemary Cornejo.
"Hunter has the ability to be an excellent collegiate quarterback," commented Red Raider Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He understands the game well and is a fierce competitor. We look forward to watching him compete over the next four years."
