O'Brien County Adds Two Positive COVID cases - State Total Now 549

The number of positive Coronavirus cases has surpassed the 500 mark. With a reported 52 new cases, Iowa has a new total of 549 infected individuals. An additional 2 deaths have been reported as well, one elderly individual above 80 years old in Washington County, one elderly individual older than 80 years of age in Polk County, bringing the count to 9 deaths related to COVID-19 in the state.
In northwest Iowa, OBrien County reports its first two COVID-19 cases, one individual between the age of 41 and 60, and one between the ages of 61 and 80. Both are in isolation. A total of 63 Iowans are being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals.
A total of 7,304 tests have come back negative. Sioux County Radio will again broadcast Governor Kim Reynolds news conference live at 2:30 on KSOU.
