City of Sioux Center Responds to Third Sioux County COVID Case

With additional confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Sioux County, the City of Sioux Center is taking additional measures to slow the spread of the virus.

Our utility staff will continue to respond to emergency calls but will postpone other service calls until a later date. Our staff is working split shifts to ensure continuity of city and utility services. The City Office will remain temporarily closed to the public, but we will continue to be available to answer your questions and assist as you need.

We know that, especially in rapidly changing circumstances, you rely on us to provide you with constant, essential services.

We will continue to provide you these services throughout this time, including police, EMS, fire, electric, natural gas, water, wastewater, and garbage/recycling services.

Together with all of you, we are keeping the health and safety of you, our staff, and the community as a whole at the forefront.

  • We will continue to follow strong hand-washing/hand-sanitizing protocols and take additional measures to keep distance between people.
  • If we enter a home, our crew may wear personal protective equipment as an added layer of protection for you and our staff.

We are encouraging customers to make payments through our online options at www.siouxcenter.org/billing or by calling us at (712) 722-0761. You can also make payments by putting them in our dropbox near the front door of the City Office. Please include bill information with payments in the dropbox.

As we navigate the Coronavirus situation as a community, we recognize some of the people we serve may face significant financial situations. All Seasons Center
The All Seasons Center is temporarily closed for all activities until further notice. The All Seasons Center office will be open during regular hours during this time.

Library Services
The Sioux Center Public Library is now closed, but they will be offering curbside service as well as online resources. For curbside service, call (712) 722-2138 or email curbside@siouxcenterlibrary.org or reserve items in the online catalog. Recreation trail and parks
The Sioux Center recreation trail remains open and the parks remain open for limited use. Park
equipment is not sanitized. Please practice personal hygiene and 6-foot social distancing and stay home when sick.
