Boiled Fish

Boiled Fish:

3 lb. skinless fillets (cut into bite-sized chunks)

1 onion (cut into 8ths)

1 1/2 T. Salt

20 peppercorns

2 T. Vinegar

2 T. Sugar

2 Bay Leafs

Melted Butter


Boil onion, salt, peppercorns, vinegar, sugar, and bay leafs in 3 quarts of water. Once boiling, lower the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes. Then add fish and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.


Remove fish with a slotted spoon. Let cool. Serve and enjoy.
