Two teens injured in A-T-V Accident

TWO TEENAGERS WERE HOSPITALIZED AFTER AN A-T-V ACCIDENT FRIDAY EVENING SOUTH OF ROCK VALLEY. THE SIOUX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THAT THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED IN A FIELD ALONG ELMWOOD AVENUE. 15 YEAR OLD COLE BOONSTRA OF NORTH HALEDON, NEW JERSEY WAS DRIVING THE A-T-V EASTBOUND IN THE FIELD WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND IT ROLLED. BOONSTRA, AND A PASSENGER, 17 YEAR OLD BENJAMIN BOONSTRAL ALSO OF NORTH HALEDON WERE BOTH THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE. BOTH BOYS WERE TRANSPORTED BY THE ROCK VALLEY AMBULANCE TO HEGG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN ROCK VALLEY FOR TREATMENT OF INJURIES. BENJAMIN BOONSTRA WAS LATER TAKEN BY THE ROCK VALLEY AMBULANCE TO SANFORD HOSPITAL IN SIOUX FALLS. THE A-T-V SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THE SIOUX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WAS ASSISTED BY THE ROCK VALLEY AMBULANCE, AND THE ROCK VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
