Hope Haven Offering Services to Clients of Sunshine Services

HOPE HAVEN INCORPORATED OF ROCK VALLEY IS NOW PROVIDING SERVICES TO CLIENTS WITH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISABILITIES AT SUNSHINE SERVICES IN SPENCER. DAVID VANNINGEN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR HOPE HAVEN, INCORPORATED, SAYS THEY BEGAN THE SERVICES JULY 1ST. HE ADDS THEY’VE ALREADY BEEN PROVIDING COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES TO NEARLY HALF OF SUNSHINE’S 60 CLIENTS.

UNDER THE NEW PARTNERSHIP, HOPE HAVEN ASSUMES REPONSIBILITY FOR ALL OF THE SERVICES FORMERLY DELIVERED BY SUNSHINE. THAT INCLUDES FACILITY AND COMMUNITY-BASED EMPLOYMENT, DAY-HABILITATION AND COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORT. SUNSHINE SERVICES RETAINS OWNERSHIP OF THE BUILDING AND GROUNDS. VANNINGEN SAYS THE SPENCER FACILITY WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE UNDER THE SUNSHINE NAME FOR NOW.

HOPE HAVEN HAS BEEN PROVIDING WORK, HOUSING AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR 50 YEARS TO PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISABILITIES IN IOWA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA.
