Disturbance Leads To House Arrest

A PIPESTONE, MINNESOTA WOMAN WAS ARRESTED EARLY SUNDAY MORNING AFTER A REPORT OF A DISTURBANCE AT A RESIDENCE ONE-AND-A-HALF MILES NORTHEAST OF IRETON.  THE SIOUX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATED THE REPORT. 24 YEAR OLD KERI EMERY OF PIPESTONE WAS ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING A MALE VICTIM AT THE RESIDENCE. EMERY WAS TRANSPORTED BY THE IRETON AMBULANCE TO THE HAWARDEN HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT OF MINOR INJURIES SHE SUSTAINED DURING THE DISTRUBANCE. UPON HER RELEASE FROM THE HOSPITAL SHE WAS ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT, AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT. THREE CHILDREN WERE PRESENT IN THE AREA THE ASSAULT OCCURRED AND WERE NOT INJURED. THE SIOUX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WAS ASSISTED BY THE HAWARDEN POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND IRETON AMBULANCE.
