A funeral service for 48-year-old Mr. Joel Boersma of Orange City will be on Friday at 6pm at the First Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Mark Haverdink and the Rev. Fred De Jong will officiate. A time of fellowship with the family will follow the service, at the church. A private family interment will take place on Saturday, at the Hospers Cemetery in rural Hospers.
Memorials will be given to the MOC-Floyd Valley wrestling program and Sioux Prairie Pheasants Forever.
The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City is in charge of arrangements.
