Now that Studs have been Sponsored and decorated, it is time to see them in place as they ‘frame the future’ of the Barranco Family in their home under construction in Hospers, IA!
The Stud Finder Family Fun Night will take place:
Monday, November 7 from 4:30 – 6:00 PM at 111 Sunrise Drive, Hospers
The event is open to the public in addition to the Stud Sponsors!
All are welcome to come and see the progress on the house, view the studs, enjoy a meal, and meet the Barranco Family! There will even be fun for the kids with free ornament decorating! A time of prayer and thanksgiving will take place at 5:30 PM. Sponsor a Stud is a fundraiser Siouxland Habitat for Humanity holds for every new build. Local businesses, churches, families, and other organizations pay to “Sponsor” a Stud and are given the 2”x 4”x 8’ wood stud to decorate however they choose- encouraging words, bible verses, business logos, and more! The decorated studs are then framed into the house, forever representing the community support for the families!
