Disturbance Leads to Arrest

On Monday, October 28, at 2:30 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Perry, age 36, of Sheldon, IA.
The arrest stemmed from a report of a disturbance that occurred at a residence west of Sheldon. Perry had also made threats to harm responders and the victim who reported the disturbance.
When deputies arrived at the residence, Perry encountered a Sheriff’s Deputy in a threatening manner and failed to stop confronting the deputy until the deputy deployed a Taser to stop him.
Perry was charged with interference with official acts.
