George Man Arrested For Sexual Abuse

A George man faces four felony charges following his arrest by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office. According to court records, the 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse charges against 47-year-old Silvester Nason stem from crimes he is alleged to have committed in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Court records indicate that Nason is accused of inappropriate contact with a female victim under the age of 12, once in each of the years listed; the same victim was involved in all four alleged crimes according to authorities.
2nd Degree Sexual Abuse is a Class B Felony. If convicted, Nason could face up to 50-years in prison. The Sheriff says the investigation is ongoing, and more charges are pending.
