Caregiving for a family member or friend can be stressful – physically, emotionally and financially; but there are resources available to help. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host two workshops in Rock Rapids geared towards managing caregiver stress – the first workshop on August 21 is focused on caregivers of children with special health and behavioral needs; and the workshop on September 18 is for those who care for adults with chronic conditions. Each workshop will take place from 6-7:30 pm in the Frontier Bank Basement in Rock Rapids. There is no charge to attend but registration is requested.
