North Central Texas cattle producer and feedyard operator Ryan Moorhouse says it’s been a pretty good year for producers in his part of the country. But it hasn’t come without its challenges. “We did have some weather, some nice rains early in the spring, and then in the summer it got hot and dry like it always does,” he says. “So, we’re kind of coming out of that period going into hopefully cooler period and a little rain in the forecast and that’d be great.”
