Farmers becoming more interested in branding

Farmers seem to be gaining interest in branding their business.

Iowa Farm Bureau farm business development manager Amanda Van Steenwyk says there was a lot of engagement around branding during a conference the organization hosted last year.

“It was the most popular and well-received breakout session. It’s an area where farmers are wanting to get a little bit better at as we develop that market of direct-to-consumer for farmers across the board.”

She tells Brownfield farmers, especially the younger generation, see growth potential when marketing direct to consumers.
