An anonymous NIXLE tip reporting an underage drinking party was received by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office just before 10pm Friday night. Deputies responded to a residence southwest of Rock Valley on 350th St. where they found 27 people at the residence with numerous beer cans and other alcoholic beverages scattered across the property.
Deputies conducted field sobriety checks on all the individuals. Nine individuals from Rock Valley, Sioux Center, Hull, and Doon, ages 18 and 19, were charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age. In addition, seven juveniles were cited in Juvenile Court for possession of alcohol under the legal age.
